Chambers Appears on CNBC Asia

HONG KONG – Richard F. Chambers, President and CEO of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), was recently interviewed in Hong Kong on CNBC Asia’s “Squawk Box” program about risk management and corporate culture – and the role and scope of internal audit and boards.

The interview aired live on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018. In the interview, Chambers discussed internal auditor objectivity and stressed the importance of a strong and effective board that is independent of management, and board members who bring professional skepticism to their roles of oversight.
