Educators’ Symposium Call for Papers/Proposals Now Open
In January 2019, the Internal Audit Foundation launched Sawyer’s Internal Auditing, 7th Edition. Since 1973, the Sawyer’s publication has been a mission-critical resource for internal audit professionals around the globe.
In his bequest, Larry Sawyer, often called “the father of modern internal auditing,” indicated that the royalties from the sale of Sawyer’s Internal Auditing be invested back into the profession through the Internal Audit Foundation.
With the support of the Sawyer family, it is with great pleasure that in alignment with his wishes and the release of the seventh edition, the Internal Audit Foundation introduces the Larry Sawyer Educators’ Symposium.
The symposium, scheduled for Sunday, 7 July, from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. in Anaheim, California, will be held in conjunction with The Institute of Internal Auditors’ 2019 International Conference.
The Call for Papers/Proposals is now open, with the Internal Audit Foundation seeking submissions of recent research and proposals for future research to be presented and discussed during the symposium.
