2019 Annual Report Now Available: Decade of Progress

​Made available for the first time at The Institute of Internal Auditors’ annual business meeting on 23 July, the 2019 annual report highlights a year of remarkable accomplishments, capping a “Decade of Progress.”

The report chronicles how laying a strong foundation in the decade leading up to 2020 has well-positioned The IIA to navigate the challenges wrought by the COVID-19 pandemic. The IIA’s chairs of the Global Board from 2010 to the present share their perspectives on the future of internal audit.

Included among 2019’s many successes were record membership, conference attendance, and certifications, as well as outstanding financial performance. An added feature of the 2019 report is  perspectives on the future of internal audit shared by The IIA’s 2010–19 chairs of the Global Board of Directors.
