ECIIA and EIRG (European Institute Research Group) are hosting a webinar on climate change,
biodiversity and environmental sustainability on February 7, at 16:00 (CET). The 2024
edition of Risk in Focus (RiF) highlighted climate change, biodiversity and environmental
sustainability as the 3rd biggest risk organisations will face by 2027.

In Europe, the regulation on this topic is evolving quickly (CSRD, CSDDD, ESRS,….) and internal
auditors have to play an important role in safeguarding businesses by addressing climate change,
biodiversity, and environmental sustainability risks—critical for financial resilience and maintaining
