(March 20, 2018) \u2014 <em>Internal Auditor<\/em> magazine, the world\u2019s premier publication for the internal audit profession, announced today that it awarded a $1,000 scholarship to Marta Kotolyan, who is pursuing a bachelor\u2019s degree at the American University of Armenia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ms-rteElement-P\">Kotolyan received the scholarship for her essay on issues that internal auditors should be aware of regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in business.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ms-rteElement-P\">Among seven key impacts surrounding the use of AI, the \u201chuman factor is the riskiest and hardest to be controlled,\u201d Kotolyan wrote.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ms-rteElement-P\">\u201cThough AI is just a machine with its own intelligence,\u201d she wrote, \u201cthat intelligence has been initially created by a human, over whom having a full control is hard to achieve.
